There is no public access through the Poipu Shores property to the shoreline which provides a very private and truly exclusive location. Other properties in the area which are "beachfront" are required to provide public access through the property resulting in more foot traffic through the property with less privacy for their guests.

Each of our fine condo units has a fully equipped kitchen, however, with the stunning Poipu Coastline views from your Poipu Shores condo (which are better than any restaurants' best seat in the "house"), you might feel like cooking outside, so feel free to cook a steak, a burger or the fresh "catch of the day" on the shared gas grills located in the common area on the ground floor.

The spectacular heated ocean front swimming pool is built at the ocean's edge on a lava rock base with an ideal vantage point to enjoy the spectacular ocean views and to watch turtles feeding on the rocks below. There are comfortable chaise lounges for your relaxing pleasure.

Each day will end with a gorgeous Kauai sunset and depending on the time of year, you can watch the sun slip into the ocean (don't forget to look for the "green flash"). Directions to Poipu Shores Condos from the Lihue Airport...

From the Lihue airport drive straight out of the terminal (Ahukini Rd/Highway 570) through the first stop light to Highway 56 (Second stop light). Turn left on Highway 56 and stay in right lane, which will turn into Highway 50. Stay on Highway 50 for approximately 9 miles to the Koloa/Poipu turnoff and make a left through the “tree tunnel.” In Koloa town, turn right at the stop sign; turn left at the next intersection (by gas station) and proceed on Poipu Road about 3 miles.

Turn right on Pe’e Road; then its a 3 or 4 minute drive until you get to Poipu Shores 1775 Pe'e Rd. - it is on the left (ocean side) and there is a sign in the front. Turn left into the parking lot. Welcome - you have arrived and your great Kauai vacation adventure begins now!
